AFRP Animal Friends Rescue Project (AFRP) is a nonprofit organization based in Pacific Grove, California. We were founded in June 1998 by four individuals who were passionate about making a difference to companion animal overpopulation. We are dedicated to finding good permanent homes for abandoned, stray, and abused companion animals and ending the pet overpopulation crisis through focused spay/neuter programs.

California Animal Rescue consist's of a group of volunteers who rescue animals from euthanasia at overcrowded county shelters and pounds, as well as abandoned animals, litters found in fields, and other homeless animals in need. All of our animals are fostered in our homes.

Big Cat Rescue is about providing the best home we can for the animals in our care and to reduce the number of cats that suffer the fate of abuse, abandonment or extinction by teaching people about the plight of the cats, both in the wild and in captivity, and how they can help through their behavior and support of better laws to protect the cats.
