Women’s Jeans – Four Favorite Styles

There are so many styles of women’s jeans available, it’s sometimes difficult to decide which style to choose. While choosing the best jean style for you may not be rocket science, it IS important, since the wrong style can be very unflattering.

After years of trying on different jean styles and cuts, I can say with confidence that there are four jean styles that are my favorites and are generally flattering to all women, regardless of their shape or size.

Low Rise Jeans

These are sexy and very flattering, provided the rise is not too low. A moderate low rise, especially when paired with a long form-fitting top, can be very flattering. However, you do NOT want the rise to be so low that your underwear shows, especially when you sit down.

Flare Jeans

I like flare jeans because they are young and hip. It’s important to realize that if the flare is very pronounced, the pants won’t necessarily look flattering – they could actually add pounds to your silhouette.

But a moderate flare paired with a small, fitted top looks really cute on most women.

Trouser Jeans

I love trouser jeans because they enable me to wear jeans to work. Of course, not every work environment will see jeans as acceptable, but if yours is fairly relaxed, a dark-wash, tailored trouser jean is very modern and completely appropriate.

Boot Cut Jeans

Of all the various jean designs, these are my absolute favorites. I like boot cut jeans because they are classic, timeless and flatter almost every figure. Boot cut jeans with a moderate low rise and a slightly darker wash look great during the day with a simple tee, and at night with a more glamorous top, heels and jewelry.

Whatever you decide on, always buy the right size for you.

The right fit is extremely important. Jeans that are too baggy or too tight never look good.

It was one many new team golf tournaments founded on the model of the Ryder Cup since that tournament became a star attraction in golf in the 1980s. In women’s golf it complemented the Solheim Cup, which is contested by teams from United States and Europe.

First, the Lexus Cup started on December 9-11, 2005, with a total purse of US0,000.

In 2005, the two team captains were chosen early in the year and selected the players that made up their respective teams. Starting in 2006 a qualifying system was used, with each team composed of the top four players from the Women’s World Golf Rankings, the top four remaining players from the ADT Official Money List, two sponsor’s picks, and two captain’s picks.

As for the format of this play, it adopted to the match play, and it endured three days, often Friday through Sunday, with each golfer playing every day. The Friday schedule had six foursomes matches; Saturday had six four-balls; and 12 singles matches are played on Sunday. This was a format modified from the Presidents Cup. If the scores were tied at the end of the singles matches, the captains competed in a sudden-death playoff. A foursomes match is a competition between two teams of two golfers. The golfers on the same team take alternate shots on each hole with the same ball, with one golfer teeing off on all odd-numbered holes and the other teeing off on even-numbered holes. Each hole is won by the team that completes the hole in the fewest number of strokes. A four-ball match is also a competition between two teams of two golfers, but all four golfers play their own balls throughout the round rather than alternating shots, and each hole is won by the team whose individual golfer has the lowest score. A singles match is a standard matchplay competition between two golfers.
